Ein tierisches Detektivbüro/ a beastly detective agency

Ich stelle euch hier Pater Piep und seinen Assistenten Nick Kraechzen vor. Beides stadtbekannte Berufsdetektive.
Ihr wundert euch vielleicht warum sie sich über ein Schnurtelefon unterhalten.
Ich hab mich sehr gewundert als mir der Katzenpirat dieses Geheimnis verraten hat: Wie ihr villeicht wisst haben Vögel keine Ohrmuschel deshalb hören sie auch nicht so gut.
Mithilfe der Schnurtelefone können sie sich bei Beschattungen aber problemlos unterhalten ohne Gefahr zu laufen belauscht zu werden. Als sie ihre Schnurtelefone noch nicht hatten mussten sie sich immer anschreien um zu wissen was der andere denkt.
Schlau oder???

You may be woundering why the are talking over a tin can telephone with each other.
Because birds don´t have ear cups they don´t hear so good. When they use tin can telephones while observing they are able to talk to each other without runnig to risk to get lurked.

In Wien findet momentan das Identities Film Festival statt. Das 1994 ins Leben gerufene Festival zeigt eine Auswahl des Internationalen Qeer Cinema. Vielfältig, in allen Genres und Formaten bietet es einen weitgefächerten Überblick der queeren Filmschaffenden.

Im Zuge dieses Festivals hab ich einen super netten Film gesehen. Patrik 1,5. Es geht um ein schwules Ehepaar das in die ruhige Vorstadtidylle zieht. Eigentlich haben sie alles was man so braucht; eine stabile, liebevolle Beziehung, ein neues Haus und gute Jobs nur eines fehlt ihnen noch zum vollkommenen Glück- ein Kind. Der Adoptionsantrag ist gestellt und die Vorfreude auf Patrik (1,5 Jahre alt) riessengross. Doch der Adoptionsbehöre unterläuft ein klitzekleiner Fehler und so steht ganz plötzlich kein niedliches Kleinkind sondern ein schwer erziehbarer äusserst homophober 15 jähriger Teenager vor der Tür........
Mich hat der Film mit seinem grundsympatischen Optimismus und dem klugen Humor total begeistert. Und falls ihr ihn noch nicht gesehen habt solltet ihr das schleunigst nachholen. Schon allein wegen des Abspanns sollte man ich die 103 min gönnen.

I saw this super nice film called Patrik 1´5. It is about a swedish gay couple that moves into a new suburban neighborhood. They live a fullfilled live but one thing is missing- a child. So they go on to adopt what they think is a 15-month-old orphan, only to meet their new son, a 15-year-old homophobic delinquent.
I loved this otimistic film that is full of wise humour.
If you haven´t seen it you should!!!!!

Da ist zu Beginn das "Merkwürdig" Moleskine-Heftchen von Fraeulein Frohgemut.
Schlicht und wunderschön vor allem das Wortspiel find ich klasse.

Fraeulein Frohgemut kommt aus Deutschland und hat da Kommunikationsdesign und Typografie studiert. Ich finde ihre kleinen Kostbarkeiten ganz grossartig und man merkt wie sehr ihr Papier am Herzen liegt.

First of all the "Merkwürdig"- notebook from Fraeulein Frohgemut. Plain and beautiful and i like the wordplay. The word "Merkwürdig" means something like "thoughtful" in german.

Fraeulein Frohgemut is from Germany where she studied communications design and typography.

Die Dame hinter diesem Prachtstück heisst Tinee Häcker und kommt aus Stuttgart. Eine Druckgrafikerin ganz nach meinem Geschmack.

Look at this beauty. "Willow- i love the sky and the trees" from SiebenMorgen a very talented lady from Stuttgart in Germany. SiebenMorgen is the label from Tinee Häcker. She makes printmaking and illustration and offers original prints and collages, fine handprinted papergoods and all kind of souvenirs from her printing studio. I love all of her work!!!!!

Und ja ihr seht recht, der stolze Kater auf der Vorderseite das ist Senor Chapeau! Zirkusdirekor des weltberühmten spanischen Flohzirkus. Berühmt und berüchitgt und zu jeder Schandtat bereit.
